End of Key Stage 3 Assessments for Year 8 Students (Document)
End of Key Stage 3 Assessments are due in May and the enclosed leaflet has been prepared to enable your child to plan ahead.  It would be helpful if you could discuss this leaflet with your child and if you need further advice, please contact the relevant teachers detailed in the leaflet.

KS3 Mathematics Feedback (Document)
The Maths department also enclose an additional sheet regarding Maths Revision and would value your feedback on the revision set for over the holidays.  Please see the enclosed sheet and return the tear off slip to Mrs Rose at the beginning of next term.

Drugs Information Evening (Document)
An Information Evening for parents has been organised in association with West Mercia police.  This evening provides valuable information for parents and has always been very well received by parents who have attended in the past.  If you would like to attend, please complete the proforma enclosed and return it to Reception by Friday 15 May.

Year 8 & 9 Internet Safety Information Evening (Document)
Following the success of a similar event organised for parents of students in Year 7 last term we would like to invite parents of students in Years 8 and 9 students to an Internet Safety Evening on Tuesday 28 April from 7pm to 8pm. Please see the enclosed information and return the proforma to Reception by Friday 24 April if you would like to attend.  Please note that this event is for parents only.

Internet Safety Software for Year 7 Parents (Document)
Please read the enclosed information about some free software that is available to Year 7 parents to protect your child while using the Internet.  Please contact Mrs Barrow if you have any further queries.

Year 11 Party (Document)
I am pleased to inform you that, following discussions with the students and
Mrs Furlong, a Celebration Party will take place on Wednesday 8 July at Midnights Nightclub in Wellington between 7.30pm and 10.30pm.  Please read the enclosed information carefully with your child and sign and return the proforma to purchase a ticket.

Golf Competition (Document)
Following the success of last year’s event, the Social Development Committee have organised another Golf Competition on Sunday 20 September.  I enclose an Entry Form and invite you to contact Mr Hudson if you require any further information. 

Race Night
The Social Development are organising a Race Night on Friday 5 June at 7.00pm.  If you would like tickets, please complete the proforma and return it with the payment to Reception by Friday 1 June 2009.

Summer Fayre
The Summer Fayre will take place this year on Saturday 11 July 2009.  There are attractions for the whole family including welly wanging, archery, themed hampers, a martial arts display and many other new stalls.  We will send you further information a little nearer the time.

Uniform Shop
We have arranged for our uniform suppliers, Buxton and Bonnett, to open a shop in School during the Summer term.  The dates and times are set out below:-

Friday 26 June: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Saturday 27 June: 10.00am – 4.00pm 
Sunday 28 June: 10.00am – 2.00pm

Please also be aware that Buxton and Bonnett’s shop in Wolverhampton will be closed on Fridays during April 2009.
