End of Key Stage 3 Assessments are due in May and this leaflet has been prepared to enable your child to plan ahead. It would be helpful if you could discuss the leaflet with your child and if you need further advice, please contact the relevant teachers detailed in the leaflet.
Work Related Learning Information Evening for Year 10 (document)
As indicated in the February mailshot, there will be an Information Evening for Parents on Tuesday 15 April to launch the Year 10 Work Related Learning Week which runs in June. It is important that every Parent attends with their child so please complete and return the reply slip on Monday 7 April.
Sports Participation Audit and Sporting Roll of Honour (document)
As you may be aware, each year we compile a list of students who have represented their district, county, region or country in sport. However, we are very keen to prepare an audit of all of our students’ sporting activities outside School, whether at social, club or representative level. This will enable us, where appropriate, to offer students the opportunity to supplement their training requirements in the Fitness Centre. So that we can make this list as comprehensive and accurate as possible, we would be most grateful if you could complete the enclosed form as appropriate and return it to your son/daughter’s Personal Tutor by Monday 14 April. Even if your son/daughter does not participate in sporting activities, please could you return the form, ticking the appropriate box at the bottom of Page 2.

Parents’ Advisory Council 2008-10
Further to my letter in February, nominations were received from nine parents and, therefore, there was no need to hold an election. All nine nominees listed below have been automatically elected to serve on the Advisory Council for the next two years:
