Activity Week 29 June – 3 July 2009
I am pleased to introduce a week of activities arranged for students in Years 7 to 10 during an action-packed week.

• Year 10 will undertake a Work-related learning week as outlined at the parents' information evening.

• Year 9 will experience a range of Enterprise and Citizenship-based events including a Young Enterprise Day and Refugee Workshops.

• Year 8 will focus on both the Science Fair and their Enterprise project that culminates in the Summer Fayre. They will also visit the Centre for Alternative Technology and Alton Towers.

• Year 7 will benefit from a local emphasis during this week with a History investigation in Ironbridge plus a research project on the library of the future.

Years 7 to 9 will also enjoy Interhouse Sports Festivals during the Activities Week. All relevant year groups will receive a more detailed programme nearer to the date.  This is a week of enrichment to really look forward to.

Year 8 Sex Education Programme (Document)

Music School Concert (Document)
This will take place on Thursday 18 June and if you would like tickets, please complete the enclosed order form and return it to Reception together with the appropriate cash or cheque (payable to Thomas Telford School). 

School Uniform Online Ordering Service and Shop (Document)
We have worked with Buxton and Bonnett to introduce an online ordering service.  The document provides information on how to use this service and you can also follow this link.

In addition, as usual we have arranged for our uniform suppliers, Buxton and Bonnett, to open a shop in School during the Summer term.  The dates and times are set out below:-

Friday 26 June: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Saturday 27 June: 10.00am – 4.00pm 
Sunday 28 June: 10.00am – 2.00pm
