Key Stage 3 National Tests (SATs) 2007
Students at this School take their SATs at the end of Year 8 rather than the end of Year 9. The Government’s target is for 46% of Year 9 students to achieve Level 6 or higher by 2008. In 2006, 64% of our Year 8 students achieved this target. The full results for 2006 are:

GCSE Results
Over the past eight years all of our students have achieved the Government’s target of 5+ A*-C passes. In 2007, we reached our target which was to achieve 100% in 11 or more A*-C passes. Our overall A*-A grades also improved from 29% in 2005 to 38% in 2007. In 2006, the Government began to publish figures for 5+ A*-C passes including Mathematics and English.

Sixth Form GCE/VCE Results
The School’s target is to exceed the Local and National Averages and this has regularly been achieved. The Government has changed the way in which advanced level points scores are reported. To put this into context, the average points score per student of 992 reported below is the equivalent of 401 UCAS points or four Grade B passes at A Level.
