Finding out about careers in the law, at Warwick University

Thu, 18 May 2017

Year 10 students taking part in a Pathways to Law event at Warwick University, had the opportunity to practise their negotiation skills in a mock negotiation between an author and a publishing firm. This was one of the sessions designed to help students develop the kinds of skills they will need for a career in the law.

The event also gave students the opportunity to experience a sample law lecture and work alongside practising solicitors to find out about the wide variety of areas the law covers. Thomas Telford students took an active part in all the activities and really enjoyed touring the university and meeting current undergraduate students.
