The aim of our School Careers policy is develop the skills, attitudes and abilities of our students to enable them to make effective decisions about their future education, training and employment. Young people’s careers are forged out of their experience, progress and achievements in learning and work. All our students have access to a planned programme of Careers Education which provides opportunities to develop and apply the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to make realistic career decisions.
Thomas Telford School provides an ‘in-house’ careers advice and guidance service which is staffed by three full-time Careers Advisors and led by Mrs Flynn, our Careers Lead.
