Sir Kevin Satchwell / Headmaster

Once again, Thomas Telford School have achieved fantastic results from students of all ages. This year, 96% of Year 11 students achieved the Government’s benchmark of at least five GCSEs A*-C including Mathematics and English. A fantastic achievement.

All 27 students who sat GCSE Mathematics a year early, gained an A*. An achievement they can be extremely proud of.

Over 40% of all GCSE and A Level grades were an A* or A grade.

73 students, 45% of those who are progressing to higher education this year, are going on to study at Russell Group/Times Top 25 and prestigious Stage Schools.  148 students (86%) secured places at their first choice University with the remaining either entering employment or an apprenticeship.

Headmaster, Sir Kevin Satchwell commented   “We are tremendously proud of the students’ achievements and they have made a huge positive step towards successful futures.  We are very pleased with the overall outcomes and would like to thank all staff and parents for their continued support. ”
