Sir Kevin Satchwell / Headmaster

Once again, Thomas Telford School have achieved fantastic results from students. This year, 95% of the students in Key Stage 4 achieved 5 or more GCSEs at A* - C / 9-4 including Mathematics and English. 97% of the cohort achieved 9-4 in either English Language or Literature. 95% of students also achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics. We believe that this will place the School amongst the top performing comprehensive schools in the Country.

GCSE results were complemented by excellent A Level results with A* and A grades at 43% (including Vocational subjects).
We are tremendously proud of the students’ achievements and they have made a huge positive step towards successful futures. We are very pleased with the overall outcomes and would like to thank all staff and parents for their continued support. Once again, Thomas Telford School have achieved fantastic results from students of all ages. This year, 96% of Year 11 students achieved the Government’s benchmark of at least five GCSEs A*-C including Mathematics and English. A fantastic achievement.
